THE A LINE WAY

In A Line’s approach to construction the owners hires us early in the pre-construction phase; sometimes even before the designer. That way, we are able to work with the owner and designer to come up with a design that works for the owner with regards to functionality, aesthetics and the all important budget. 

We work on a project management fee that is agreed upon before construction begins and that fee does not change with even with changes in the project and budget. Unlike companies that mark up a percentage of all costs A Line Projects does not benefit from going over budget.  This method has a distinct advantage over traditional methods because A Line Projects collects a fee unrelated to the budget. We become an advisor to the owner and work collaboratively because the incentive is to bring the best possible product to the owner.  This arrangement allows for good value-engineering because of the early involvement of the builder.

A Line Projects prides itself on building houses as if we own them.  That means many things to us;  From not cutting corners to game time changes for the betterment of the project.  One of the key factors to that objective is that we use the project budget as if we are spending our own money.  We can’t stand to see money wasted so we do everything in our power to build as efficiently as possible and never lose focus of that goal.
